WRITINGÂ THE STORIES I NEED TO READ
AUTHOR · PODCASTER · CLAY MAKERÂ
Dark romance. Small towns. Fictional men who have absolutely no business being this compelling. A debut novel in the works, handmade clay charms for the stories that stay with you, and a book podcast with my best friend... all of it, honestly, without the filter.

CLAY CHARMS FOR THE STORIES THAT ALTER YOU
AMBER.ALTERED
Some stories don’t let go of you. A book you finished at 2am and couldn’t shake. A Bible verse that hit at exactly the wrong (right) moment. A piece of real life that deserved to be remembered.
So I started making them small enough to carry.
Turns out years of suturing at 2am in emergency surgery is excellent training for sculpting a book the size of your thumbnail. Same steady hands. No post-op recovery needed.
Handmade clay charms, one at a time, at my workbench. Here’s how it works:
- every charm comes from a story and every story is told with it
- each piece is numbered in its series and when a series is done, it’s done
- small-batch drops a few times a year and the waitlist hears first
The catch? Drops are small and they don’t come back. Get on the list and you’ll hear first. Not jewelry. Evidence that a story mattered.

MY DEBUT NOVEL · WAITLIST OPEN
FATE + TASSELS
Two people. One blue journal. A town that's been watching them circle each other for weeks.
Charlie Baxter has spent her whole life showing up for everyone else. Linus Wellington has spent his whole life arriving exactly on time... for everything except this. Neither of them believes love is still in the cards. Fate, Serendipity's omniscient, data-driven, slightly smug narrator... disagrees.
A deliciously slow burn with missed opportunities, crackling banter, a wee touch of spice, and the kind of tension that makes you want to shake two perfectly good people and say JUST LOOK AT EACH OTHER.
You'll fall in love with Charlie and Linus. You'll fall even harder for the town around them.
Fate knew you would. She had it at 94.7% from the beginning.
If Stars Hollow had a Lady Whistledown.
No release date yet... and I'm not going to fake one. The waitlist hears first.

Hey, I'm Amber
EMERGENCY VET TURNED AUTHOR, CHARM MAKER, PERPETUAL READER
IÂ create things I care about most... and occasionally get paid for it.Â
Books with morally gray men, tiny clay charms for the stories that stay with you, and becoming the woman I was meant to be.
QUICK BACKGROUND
Years in emergency and critical care taught me how to stay steady while everything around me fell apart. Turns out that’s excellent training for writing a novel, homeschooling twins, and pressing clay at 5am before anyone needs a snack.
Same hands. Different medium.Â
Nowadays, I write the books I want to read, make charms at my workbench, lift heavy, and record Morally Gray Babes with my book bestie, Jen.
RANDOM FACTOIDS
Sucker for cozy hoodies, romantasy, Highland coos, and any book boyfriend who’s a little unhinged… but only soft for her.
Also: hand me a romance book + a step goal and I’ll walk like I’m being chased by my TBR.
No fluff. No pretending. Just real life, written honestly.

Note
I’ve always loved that quote: “A jack of all trades…” because it gives permission to be obsessed with more than one thing—without apologizing for it.Â
This little corner of the internet is built on three things: dark romance, writing stories that matter and being honest about what it actually looks like to build a life you're proud of, love.Â
